"This song is about beginnings that require a 'baby-step of faith,' intuitively embracing the way others behave while not always agreeing - it's about the intrinsic ethics of the human soul. At the time I was questioning certain vices I had picked-up. I always had the tendency to grow old before I was ripe - like the poet says, 'It took me a long time to get young.'" If it weren't for a the 'Baby-Step of Faith' that I took, I would've never put up with the noise, the nuisance, the queues, heavy hangovers, social ridicule, etc.. And I would've never known what my generation suffers and could never represent them faithfully.
